I am new to full contact poker and Poker VT, but so far it’s excellent. I was a member of Poker X Factor and Card Runners and they were excellent sites, however, the quality of the videos and staring at a poker board got boring after awhile and it was hard to stay focused.
I really like this premise, and if it’s updated, this site will definitely be the premier site. Everything is explained very well and very naturally. For me the most important parts are the math and it’s explained exceptionally well here.
For those complaining about the start-up and monthly fees etc, I don’t get it. If you’re even looking to learn to play poker, which is obvious if you’re interested in Poker VT, then I would hope you are planning on also making profit playing poker. I would then assume and hope you would be looking to make more than a couple hundred bucks which would more than pay for using this site. Knowledge is power and you can’t expect it to be free. Also, this is the same price that the other two sites charge when it’s obvious this site costs way more to run and has had a hell of a lot more backing put into it.
The last point is it is FEATURING DANIEL N, PAUL WASICKA, and KIRK M. These three names are very big names in the industry, why would they put out something that is crap to tarnish there name or image? I am surprised people even have to ask if the site is good when backed by those names. I signed up within minutes of finding out about this site purely on the idea that Daniel was attached and as long as I have been following poker and playing (not long, little of a year,) Daniel has always come off as a very reputable guy, so he would not put out something that is crap to tarnish what he has worked so hard to build for so long, like his image.
Overall I would highly recommend it. Forget about the start-up fees, and monthly payments and be thankful we have resources like this rather than what the players had to deal with back in the day.
