I recently subscribed to your PokerVT to attempt to improve my game. I have been playing small stakes for a couple years. I was trying to make the break from being a break even/small win player to cashing more consistently. Your site has been extremely helpful, and you have found a way to keep me interested while I am learning. I always enjoyed watching Daniel on TV as he would break down hands, this really takes it a step further.
I was unsure about investing $150 in this training, my usual reload amount is $100.00, occasionaly more. I decided to give it a shot and when I cashed a little money out of stars, I diverted half of it to your sign up. Two weeks later, (and one day after taking hell from my wife for shipping you $150) I cashed my biggest tourney to date….over $2k when I took 4th in a field of over 4600 people in the 15k guaranteed at stars. My previous largest cash was probably $600.
Now, yes I got hit by the deck at the right times, came from behind a couple times, and it just seemed to be my day, but I have been running deeper in a lot of tourneys lately, and I seem to be making the right moves even when I wind up getting sucked out on. I am giving myself a much better opportunity to win.
I know that your course has played a role in helping me analyze where I am in every hand better, making me realize spots where I can improve.
I don’t expect to turn pro anytime soon, if ever, but I feel that my edge has improved a lot thanks to your site. I would recommend the investment to anyone looking to improve their game, regardless of their level.
